Day 6, The Move

Joanie has been moved from the hospital to the Transitional Care Unit. While part of the hospital, it is on another campus located within a 1/4 mile of where Joanie & I teach. I saw her stand up, with help, and walk with the aid of a one-handed walker, to a wheel chair. She's exhausted but ready to begin her therapy. She will likely be here for the next two weeks or so. God is good!

Joanie & Lance, oh my what can I say...you both are in our prayers and have been added to our church prayer chain..What a mighty God we have, you both are a reflection of that. Joanie with all that love, care and support you gave Lance durning his transplant, I know he is well "trained" :o) I think of you both often..infact you pass by me daily on my computer screen...but Lance we really need to get together and update..what wonderful prednisone faces we had.
Joanie, don't get frustated..one step at a time. And remember we will be praying with each one of those steps.
Love and Blessing to you both!
Peggy

fkkLance, Kay & I just heard the news tonight when I called Mom. We are so very sorry to hear about Joanie's stroke! I am glad to hear that she is making progress in her recovery and I pray that she can make a full recovery.

May the Lord continue to give you his blessings and support!
